Poor Economic Knowledge: Old Newspaper Proves Obasanjo May Be Right About President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari a few days ago, received some words of counselling from ex president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Obasanjo advised Buhari via an 18-page statement termed epistle by some Nigerians.  One of the major crux of the former president's lengthy letter was about the poor handling of the economy. Chief Obasanjo stated that Buhari is a good military man, who has tried in areas of security and anti-corruption. However, the current president has scored far below average mark in reviving Nigeria's economy. On Obasanjo's assessment of Buhari's economic gains or losses, Naijaloveinfo discovered an old newspaper, "Sunday Herald" which carried a bold headline captioned: BUHARI BLAMES MIDDLEMEN FOR POOR ECONOMY. This edition of Sunday Herald was published when the incumbent president was the military Head of State of the country (December, 1983 - August, 1985). Nigerians themselves should assess the president's economic policies and say if t

Mexico's Drug Cartel Killing The Oil Industry Because Of This Reason

Mexico's drug cartel are taking over the country's oil sector as these stupendously rich drug traffickers  are now facing the oil industry. The first call, from someone claiming to belong to the Michoacán Family drug cartel, came in February 2015. “They said they knew who I was and where I lived,” said Alberto Arredondo, who got the call at work as a pump technician at an oil refinery in the central Mexican city of Salamanca. “They wanted information.” At first, Arredondo hung up. “But they were insistent,” he said, calling back and demanding details of when fuels would be pumped and through which pipelines. Over the next two years, Arredondo said, he would be hounded, kidnapped, pistol-whipped and stabbed so severely that surgeons removed his gall bladder. In December 2016, he fled to Canada, where he now seeks asylum from gangs that steal fuel from Salamanca and five other refineries operated by Pemex, the state-owned oil company. Proposed Cattle Colonies: Prof Ben Nwabueze Reveals President Buhari's Real Intention

Nigerian elder statesman and famous constitutional lawyer, Professor Ben Nwabueze, has criticised President Muhammadu Buhari of using the proposed cattle colonies to achieve a ‘Fulani supremacy agenda’ started by the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello. He spoke in a paper entitled, ‘President Buhari should not lure us into the deadly trap of establishing cattle colonies for Fulani herdsmen in every state of the federation,’ in Enugu on Tuesday. Noting that the cattle colonies, as proposed by the Federal Government, were nothing other than ‘settlements’ of Fulani herdsmen in all parts of the country, Nwabueze warned of the religious, political and legal implications of the plan. He argued that Buhari was only using the scheme to pursue a Fulani supremacy agenda. Nwabueze said, “In considering the religious implications of establishing ca

But he should learn to respect other people and think of them as being, at least, as good as himself. “I think it is insulting for a man who wanted third term to tell somebody else not to want second term.
