A 42-year-old man by the name Jana has been killed by his favourite snake pet, a python in Indonesia. The incident happened while the man in question was bathing his love pet. Tori.ng reports that: The man was strangled to death by the snake. While most people are afraid of snakes, there is a small subset of pet lovers with a passion for the scaly serpents. Unfortunately for one Indonesian man, his love of pythons led to his own death after his favorite snake strangled him. Jana, a 42-year-old resident of Citiru Village, in the Kutawaringin District of Bandung Regency, was found dead on Friday morning. He is believed to have been bathing his favorite python when it wrapped itself around him, killing him. Stranded Dolphin Killed In Bayelsa (PHOTOS)

A stranded dolphin which was caught by residents of Odi Community in Bayelsa state, South south Nigeria has been killed. Reports have it that the big fish was seen at the shore stranded. Tori.ng reports more that: This dolphin was caught in Odi community in Bayelsa state, Niger Delta part of Nigeria. According to reports, it wandered around the waters surrounded by fishermen. There was wild gyration among the locals when it was killed. People rolled out the knives and other materials to grab their share of the friendly mammal which is worshipped by animal lovers abroad. Copa America 2019: Brasil Defeat Paraguay Via Penalties, Qualify For Semis

The Samba Boys of have booked a place in the semi finals of the Copa America 2019 after defeating Paraguay. The game ended 0-0 after regulation time. It was a sad story to tell by traders in the popular Ariaria International Market in Aba, Abia state, Southeastern Nigeria as they have begun to count their losses following the heavy downpour on Wednesday, June 26. Residents alike were affected by the rainfall. Vanguard reported further that:  Traders at the Ariaria International, Cemetery and the New Markets in Aba, Abia State, are now counting their losses after a downpour that hit the city last Wednesday.  The torrential rains which began at about 3pm flooded all parts of the city as it sacked residents from their homes property worth over N10 million were lost to the flood.  South-East Voice gathered that the traders at Lines 10, 15 and 18 in New Market were worst hit as a dealer on clothing; Mr. Obinna Oguguo lost over 32 bales of clothes worth N90,000 each.  Over 23 traders were affected at Line 10 of the market including Ogbu Onwuka, Samuel Ehileme and Daniel Isaac who estimated their losses at about N10.9 million.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, has showered praises on President Muhammadu Buhari for his renewed commitment to tackle poverty headlong in his second term in office. No Hiding Place For Insurgents As Army Rescues Over 100 In Borno

Soldiers of the Nigerian army have rescued no fewer than 100 people who were abducted by alleged Book Haram insurgents. Many people sustained various degrees of injuries after a man opened fire at a horse rider during a marriage ceremony in Kano, North-West Nigeria.
