At least seven people , including a pregnant woman, were crushed to death on Tuesday, November 28 in an accident at a mechanic village along OGTV/Ajebo road in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital. United States president, Donald Trump on Wednesday, November 29, retweeted three anti-Muslim videos posted by a British far-right group. One of the videos seems to show a Muslim beating up a Dutch boy on crutches. Another is described as showing a perceived Muslim mob pushing a teenager of a rooftop. A jealous husband has been found guilty of killing his wife with an axe and throwing away her body in a Lidl car park after suspecting she was having an affair. Norbert Chikerema struck Nyasha Kahari, known as Gillian, more than 40 times and was today convicted of her death by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court. The judge told Chikerema, a care home worker: “You have clearly been convicted of a very serious offence of which the sentence is life imprisonment.” During the trial, the court heard Chikerema, from Birmingham, and his wife ran a nursing home. The 42-year-old suspected the mum-of-four was seeing another man and had hired a private detective to follow her. After killing the 35-year-old, he drove to a Lidl car park in Marston Green near Solihull, West Midlands, and was found in the parked vehicle beside his wife’s body. Cocoa Farmers Petition President Buhari Over Alleged Distribution Of Fake Farm Inputs By Agric Ministry

Cocoa farmers in Nigerian have written a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari over the alleged distribution of fake farm inputs by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. The farmers alleged that the products that were distributed to cocoa farmers in the cocoa growing parts of the country adversely affected the growth and development of the crop when it was applied. The letter dated November 27 and addressed to the president, was signed by members of the executive of the Cocoa Farmers Association of Nigeria, CFAN, including the National President, Raimi Adeniji; Secretary, Adeola Adegoke; National Vice President, South West, Ayodele Joseph; Financial Secretary, Ufono Sunday; and Public Relations Officer, Yerima Mustapha. The Nigerian Naira on Tuesday, November 28 stayed at N362.5 to the dollar at the parallel market, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. The British Pound Sterling and the Euro closed at N480 and N430. At the Bureau De Change (BDC) window, the Nigerian currency was sold at N362 to the dollar, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro traded at N480 and N430. Trading at the investors’ window saw the Naira closed at N360.37 to the dollar, while it closed at N305.80, N408.18 and N365.03 against the Dollar, Pound Sterling and the Euro at the CBN window. Traders expressed optimism at the relative stability of the Naira against the dollar. 52-Year-Old Lagos Pastor Reportedly Threatened By Ogboni Fraternity Over Demolition Of Shrine

52-year-old Lagos pastor and leader of Kingdom Fire Ministry International, Chukwudi Okoh, has informed the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Christian Association of Nigeria, and the Nigeria Police Force to investigate a threat letter purportedly written to him by some people who claimed to be members of the  Ogboni  Fraternity. There was panic and anxiety at the Imo State House complex in Owerri, the Imo State capital on Tuesday, November 28, as the 27 law makers did not attend the 2018  budget proposal presentation by the state Governor, Rochas Okorocha. Apart from the members of staff of the State Assembly, the legislators boycotted the complex throughout the day.
