#RamadanDailyDigest: Have You Fed A Fasting Muslim?

The saying that 'there is love in sharing' is universal and applies to everyone who loves being generous to others, as well to those who feed a fasting Muslim in this month of Ramadan.

You can also ask yourself the question that, have you fed a fasting Muslim? The answer is also best known to you.

Feeding a fasting Muslim could come in different ways. For instance, an elderly Muslim person, who is not able to fast Ramadan due to old age could get another fasting Muslim and feed him from Ramadan Day 1 to Day 29 or 30. Also, you can decide to feed a fasting Muslim or groups of persons who are fasting during Iftaar (period of breaking fast) or Sahuur (period of eating before dawn) or at both Sahuur and Iftaar. Everything depends on your financial capabilities and willingness.

Feeding a fasting Muslim even for once in Ramadan is one of the most rewarding acts of worship in the month of Ramadan. Your ability to give out of the little you have will be rewarded by Allaah, which is a pointer to the fact that you would give out more when you have more.

Have you fed a fasting Muslim in Ramadan?

In the last verse of Suuratul Muzzammil (chapter 73) of the Glorious Qur'an, Allaah made it known that He, Allaah would multiply what the giver gives in multiple folds of rewards. More so, there are several verses in Suuratul Baqara (chapter 2) of the Glorious Qur'an that emphasise the reward for being generous, which feeding a fasting Muslim is part of the generosity.

To all Muslims, try to be generous in order for Allaah to continue to bless you. Suffice to mention here that you can give out to non Muslims also, as act of giving is not limited to only people who are Muslims like you.
