Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised all Muslims on one of the things they should do every Friday. Friday is known as Yaomul Jumu'a in Islaam. It is the day all Muslims go out to observe Salaatul Jumu'a (Friday congregational prayer). Yaomul Jumu'a is the most honoured day by the Muslims. The Messenger of Allaah advised Muslims to recite Suuratul Kahf (Chapter 18) of the Glorious Qur'an every Friday. He stated that reciting Suuratul Kahf every Friday provides an illumination between two Fridays. Therefore, Muslims should try to recite Suuratul Kahf every Friday before sunset.

Nigerian Nanny, 73 Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison For Murder In America (Photo)

A Nigerian Nanny, Oluremi Adeleye, who is 73 years old has been handed a jail term of 15 years for killing an eight month old baby by force feeding it with milk. The judge who delivered the judgement stated that Adeleye's action was not accidental, though there might have been no evil intent. According to Washington Post, the septuagenarian was found guilty of child abuse and second-degree murder by Prince George’s County Circuit Court, Judge Karen Mason. “While I don’t find the defendant is an evil-intentioned baby slayer, I also don’t find her actions were accidental.”  Mason said before handing down the sentence. Tragic: 38-Year-Old Tenant Murders 50-Year-Old Landlord, Dumps Body Inside Septic Tank

A 38-year-old tenant, Daniel Isaac has allegedly murdered his 50-year-old landlord, Willy Ebinate in Ikotun area of Lagos. The motive behind the tenant killing his landlord was as a result of stealing the latter's car. Punch informed that: A tenant, Daniel Isaac, has been arrested by personnel of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his landlord, Willy Ebinate, at his house on Owodun Street in the Ikotun area of the state. Isaac was alleged to have killed the 50-year-old car dealer in a order to steal his Toyota Camry car that was parked inside the compound. After perpetrating the crime, the 38-year-old tenant reportedly dumped Ebinate’s corpse in a septic tank and drove away the car. Alleged Boko Haram terrorists have killed at least 65 people in a village in Nganzai local government area of Borno state, North eastern Nigeria. The incident happened precisely at Badu village of Nganzai, when the insurgents struck by killing the people who came to mourn the death of deceased by a grave site. According to Punch: No fewer than 60 persons were killed at a gravesite in Badu village, Borno State, the Chairman of Nganzai Local Government, Muhammad Bulama, told journalists on Sunday. The soldier who reportedly killed a driver in Kogi state by him has been arrested by Edo state police. The incident that led to the death of the driver happened in Okene area of the Kogi state. The Delta State Traditional Rulers Council (DSTRC), has made it known that no single piece of land in the South south state will be given out for the Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) project. On Tuesday night of July 23, information has that the house of the father of Nigerian music star, Davido was gutted by fire in Lagos. The news was broke late last night. According to independent.ng; Nigerian music icon, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke’s house located on Esther Adeleke street in Lekki, Lagos state was on Tuesday gutted by fire. According to reports, the fire started around 10 pm from the penthouse of the magnificent building. Fire service operatives were said to have quickly mobilized their men to the scene and prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the building. Shiites, have been reported to have protested in United Kingdom, Canada and India apart from the bloody Abuja protest on Monday, July 22. The Abuja Shiite group protest led to the death of no fewer than 12 persons including a high ranking police officer and a news reporter with Channels TV. According to Punch; Protests have rocked India, Canada and United Kingdom over the unlawful detention of Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. In Kashmir, India, children and youths embarked on street demonstration, calling for the release of the Shiite leader. “A protest rally was held today morning (Sunday) in Indian-Controlled Kashmir in solidarity with Sheikh #El-Zakzaky,” the Islamic Human Rights Commission  tweeted. A video of the demonstration showed the group holding posters and cardboards with the picture of El-Zakzaky. A car bomb blast that happened in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia on Monday, July 22, has killed no fewer than 17 people, with 28 others injured. The death toll initially after the blast was less than 17. Reports have it that a ghastly motor accident has left two people dead, while no fewer than six others were injured. According to Punch; An accident involving two vehicles on Enugu-Onitsha expressway in Anambra State on Friday claimed the lives of two persons while six others were injured. Mr Andrew Kumapayi, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps. Anambra, who confirmed the incidence to the News Agency of Nigeria, said it occurred at Nteje on the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
