Ramadan Daily Digest 28: Have You Completed The Glorious Qur'an

It is a big rewarding act if a fasting Muslim completes the recitation of the Glorious Qur'an from chapter 1 to chapter 114 in the month of Ramadan.

The Glorious Qur'an is significant with Ramadan, as the Book of Allaah was revealed in Ramadan.

As Ramadan fasting for this year clocks 28 days this evening, every Muslim should assess the extent of his Qur'an recitation so far.

It will not be okay if a fasting Muslim who knows how to recite the Glorious Qur'an does not complete a whole Qur'an.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon his noble soul) in one of his sayings stated that "the best among you (Muslims) is the one who knows how to recite the Glorious Qur'an and teaches others."

It therefore means Muslims are to learn how to recite the Glorious Qur'an in Arabic.
