Chapter 4, verse 27 of the Glorious Qur'an mentioned the categories of women as follows:

1. Your mothers (both biological and step mother)

2. Your daughters

3. Your sisters

4. Your father's sisters

5. Your mother's sisters

6. Your brothers' daughters

7. Your sisters' daughters

8. Your foster mother who gave you suck

9. Your foster milk suckling sister

10. Your wives' mothers

11. Your step daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom you have gone in

12. The wives of your sons

13. Two sisters at the same time.
