A stranded dolphin which was caught by residents of Odi Community in Bayelsa state, South south Nigeria has been killed. Reports have it that the big fish was seen at the shore stranded. Soldiers of the Nigerian army have rescued no fewer than 100 people who were abducted by alleged Book Haram insurgents. Many people sustained various degrees of injuries after a man opened fire at a horse rider during a marriage ceremony in Kano, North-West Nigeria.
