Spanish football giant Real Madrid were reported to be interested in signing Senegalese born striker, Sadio Mane from Liverpool, however the La Liga club president, Florentino Perez, has finally decided he is no longer interested in the sleeky forward.
Madrid had shown interest in the in-form winger in recent times.
Dailypost.ng reports that: Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has finally decided not to sign Liverpool’s Sadio Mane in this summer’s transfer window, according to OK Diaro director, Eduardo Inda.
Recall that Mane was on Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane’s list of players he wants Perez to sign at the end of the season.
Inda has now claimed that Perez does not want to pay Liverpool’s asking price of £175m for the Senegalese forward.
“Zidane has differences with Thibaut Courtois, having wanted to continue with Keylor,” Inda was quoted by Express UK as saying.
“Pogba is closer than we think.
“And Mane, Liverpool has asked 200 million euros (£175m) and Florentino has said no.”
