#SaveOurDemocracy: DSS Takes Over National Assembly (SEE PHOTOS)

Following the recent resignation of former Akwa Ibom state governor and serving lawmaker, Senator Godswill Akpabio as Senate Minority Leader, there are speculations that Senate president, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki would follow the same path either by choice or force.

Just a few hours ago, men of the Department of State Services (DSS), took over the National Assembly, preventing journalists from gaining entrance into the inner Chambers.

Some lawmakers were also restricted in their movement into the hallowed chambers.

Reports have it that masked DSS men stood their ground and ensured no one breached the order they were asked to carry out.
