Muslims all over the world are preparing for Sallah celebration tomorrow, Tuesday, August 21, while those performing this year pilgrimage will perform the standing on Mount Arafat today, Monday, August 20.

Arafat day has so much significance to all Muslims globally. For those not performing Hajj, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon his soul) advised them to fast on Arafat today.

According to a social media user, he highlighted why Arafat day is so important below:

Muslims performing Hajj at Mount Arafat

πŸ‘‰πŸ»The Day of Arafah is NOT a day for cleaning/organizing the home.
πŸ‘‰πŸ»Nor is it a day for shopping or going out for fun
πŸ‘‰πŸ»Nor is it a day for resting, wasting time or sleeping
πŸ‘‰πŸ»The Day of Arafah is no ordinary day
πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ
But

πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day in which Allah has Honored
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day in which Allah has Glorified
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day in which Allah boasts about the people of Arafah to the Angels
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day in which Allah saves people from the Hell-Fire
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day of good deeds and striving in worship
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day Of forgiveness
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day of mercy and great bounty
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day of tears and supplication (du’as)
πŸ‘‰πŸ»It is a Day of fasting where sins (minor) are forgiven for the past year and next

πŸ“£The Day of Arafah is a Great Day in the Sight of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). It is the best day of the entire year. The piety in our hearts should drive us to take advantage of every second of this day. Whoever honors the Symbols of Allah has honored His Deen.

πŸ“£May Allah accept this day from us.

#RamadanDailyDigest: What You Should Tell Troublemakers While Fasting

Today's Ramadan Daily Digest comes with another scintillating topic titled what you should tell troublemakers while fasting, as Ramadan fasting enters Day 13. It is important that as a fasting Muslim, first of all, you should not create problems for others or yourself at all times, as you should know what you should tell troublemakers while fasting, in order to have all the rewards of Ramadan and not just putting yourself under hunger and thirst, which means a nullity in fasting. 7 Greatest Sportsmen Of All Time

There are often arguments and counterarguments on who the 7 greatest sportsmen of all time are. Some sports historians, analysts, and supporters pick their own choices not necessarily on facts but emotions.  In picking the 7 greatest sportsmen of all time, I briefly checked their achievements not just in their specific fields but also their impact outside the world of sports. 1. Boxing legend, Muhammad Ali has been crowned the best sports athlete of all time in a star-studded list. The 'Greatest' is widely considered the best boxer in history and arguably the most iconic sports star of the 20th century.  Ali was not just a beauty to watch in the boxing ring, the greatest pugilist positively influenced decisions in many countries globally.  2. Pele is widely picked as the winner, and number one football player in history in all criteria. His three-time World Cup-winning feat, from four World Cup appearances, is unlikely to be matched. Pele scored a Guinness World Record of...

#RamadanDailyDigest: Significance Of Moonsighting & Commencement Of Ramadan

Ramadan Daily Digest, which is an annual article on the stable of Naijaloveinfo with hashtag, #RamadanDailyDigest will be discussing briefly the significance of moonsighting and the commencement of Ramadan. Ramadan, which is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar is the only month in which Muslims, the world over fast from dawn till sunset for 29 or 30 days. Allaah commands Muslims to fast as stated in some parts of Suuratul Baqara (chapter 2) of The Glorious Qur'an. The Glorious Qur'an is the first and most important book to all Muslims. For all the Islamic months, starting from Muharram (first month) to Dhul Hajj (12th month), the numbers of days in each of these 12 months are often 29 days and once in a while 30 days. The interesting thing about counting days is that the crescent (new moon) plays an important role. Therefore, the significance of moonsighting is the first consideration before starting the Ramadan fasting.  The question that could come up is why do Muslims co...
