Hilarious: Drunkard Takes Taxi To Parents Former House And Falls Asleep There (Photo)

A funny incident happened to a man named Thomas Airlie, after he got drunk, took a taxi to his parents former apartment and fell asleep there.

The person who currently lives in the house was startled to see a stranger fast asleep on the couch in her apartment.

Information has it that while it’s hard to be on top of your game while you’re intoxicated, there are three rules to a successful night of heavy drinking. One, make sure you have the holy trinity on you: phone, wallet, keys. Two, don’t drive. Three, get home safely.

Thomas Airlie probably thought he was in the clear when he ordered a taxi to take him to his parents’ house to sleep off a night out with the guys.

He entered the residence, took his shoes off at the door, went to the kitchen to get a juice, and lay down on the couch. All was well.

Except his parents did not live in that house — in Glasglow, Scotland — anymore, and they hadn’t for two years.

Elaine McDade, a dance teacher, and mother of two, lived there, and while Thomas proved to be very polite, it still is a scary situation to realize there’s a 26-year-old stranger in your home.

“Every time I come into my house I lock my door behind me. Every time, it’s a habit! Even during the day, I always do it. The one and only time I don’t!” McDade said on Facebook. She and her children were in bed, watching TV when she went to get a drink. That’s when she spotted Airlie.

“When I saw him I woke him up straight away. I even asked him if he used to live here, or if he lived in the same street now and had just got the wrong door,” McCade told Daily Mail.

She called her husband at work, and he arrived to drive Airlie home. But Airlie couldn’t remember where he lived, so McCade’s husband dropped him at a supermarket. Someone who knew Airlie’s parents eventually sent him the photo McCade had snapped of him on her couch, and he apologized to her most profusely on Facebook.

In the end, everyone was safe, save for some ribbing from Airlie’s friends.

#RamadanDailyDigest: Muslim Wives Are Supporters, Not Slaves

Muslims have completed fasting Day 4 today, as they look forward to Day 5 fasting out of the 29 or 30 days fasting; it is important to highlight the roles Muslim wives play in the family. Muslim wives are supporters, and not slaves, and should be treated with utmost dignity. In the religion of Islam, the roles and rights of Muslim wives are copiously written and spoken about. How husbands should relate with their wives are clearly stated. In the Glorious Qur'an, to show the love Allaah has for women, chapter 4 is also called 'Suuratu Nisaa' which translates to chapter of the women in English language. Interesting to know that there is no single chapter out of the total 114 chapters of the Glorious Qur'an named after men, further showing that Muslim wives, daughters, mothers, and all groups of females are held in high esteem by Allaah. It is a sad tale to see what happens in the present day world, whereby some women are maltreated and abused by the society and their part...
