What Ronaldo Said About Neymar Jr Joining Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has backed his current club, Real Madrid regarding signing PSG star player, Neymar Jr, saying he will fit very well into the club.

The current Champions League holders, Real Madrid are reported to be eyeing a world-record transfer for Neymar possibly after the FIFA Russia world cup.

Neymar Jr has been linked to the Bernabeu ever since his ditched Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in a £200million deal last summer.

Neymar will be in the shop window during the World Cup, where he will hope to emulate former striker Ronaldo in winning the trophy for Brazil.

Ronaldo is now an ambassador for Real and reckons Neymar would impress at Barcelona’s biggest rivals.

However, he refused to reveal how much influence he has on transfer proceedings inside the Bernabeu.

“I don’t decide anything for Real Madrid. I’m following it in the press, but right now I have nothing confirmed,” the Brazilian said at Sunday's French football awards.

“I don’t know what is going to happen, although Madrid has historically made some big signings.

“If it is confirmed then Neymar would fit very well into the profile of a Real Madrid player.”

Neymar, 26, has not played for PSG since February due to a broken foot.

However, he is expected to return to full training in time for Brazil’s World Cup preparations.

Neymar has scored 27 goals for club and country this season, helping PSG to triumphs in Ligue 1, the French League Cup and the Coupe de France.

Were he to join Real, it would likely mean the end of at least one of Zinedine Zidane’s forward three.

Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to exit the club - but the futures of both Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are in doubt after disappointing seasons from the duo.

#RamadanDailyDigest: Muslim Wives Are Supporters, Not Slaves

Muslims have completed fasting Day 4 today, as they look forward to Day 5 fasting out of the 29 or 30 days fasting; it is important to highlight the roles Muslim wives play in the family. Muslim wives are supporters, and not slaves, and should be treated with utmost dignity. In the religion of Islam, the roles and rights of Muslim wives are copiously written and spoken about. How husbands should relate with their wives are clearly stated. In the Glorious Qur'an, to show the love Allaah has for women, chapter 4 is also called 'Suuratu Nisaa' which translates to chapter of the women in English language. Interesting to know that there is no single chapter out of the total 114 chapters of the Glorious Qur'an named after men, further showing that Muslim wives, daughters, mothers, and all groups of females are held in high esteem by Allaah. It is a sad tale to see what happens in the present day world, whereby some women are maltreated and abused by the society and their part...
