#UCLfinal: How Ramos Ruined A Beautiful Game After Injuring Salah

It is no longer a news that defending champions of Europe's elite club competition, Real Madrid have successfully defended the Champions League by winning the trophy for a third successive time.

The 3-1 victory the Spanish club secured against English side, Liverpool was tainted by a vicious challenge by Sergio Ramos on the Reds talisman, Mohamed Salah.

Supporters of the round leather game mostly saw the Madrid captain, as playing the devil's advocate in order to get his side the victory, which was mainly to injure Salah in order to weaken and kill the morale of Liverpool as a whole.

It is sad cheating via various forms is still rampant in the game of soccer.

A similar incident happened at the FIFA 2006 World Cup in Germany. The tournament was won by Italy, after Marco Materazzi frustrated Zinedine Zidane out of the game, after the latter was red carded for head butting the Italian defender.

The sad reality is that if cheating continues in football, the team which ought to win competitions might be denied.
