Fani-Kayode Makes Mockery Of Dino Melaye, Lampoons Osinbajo

An ex Aviation ministet, Femi Fani-Kayode, has made a mockery of embattled Kogi state Senator Dino Melaye over his ongoing travails under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Melaye was among Nigerians who strongly opposed the immediate past administration of President Goodluck Jonathan and passionately supported Buhari to succeed Jonathan.

Apart from a move by his constituents to recall him, Melaye is currently facing two police cases and recently jumped out of police vehicle in an alleged bid to escape being taken to Kogi State, and in the process injured himself.

He had since Tuesday when the incident happened, remained in hospital and claimed in a tweet on Tuesday that he was yet to eat anything for over 24 hours, also lamenting that his family, members and lawyers have been denied access to see him.

Reacting to the travails of the senator, who represents Kogi West at the Senate, Fani-Kayode wrote:

“He spoke against @GEJonathan and walked freely but when he spoke against @MBuhari he ended up in the hospital intensive care unit in handcuffs and was promptly handcuffed to the bed. That is the difference between @GEJonathan and @MBuhari. Oh…sorry @dino_melaye.”

Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode has lambasted Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over his alleged statement that persecution of Christians is on the rise in Nigeria.

Fayose wrote on his twitter handle quoting Osinbajo’s alleged statement, “’Persecution of Christians on the rise’- VP Yemi Osinbajo.”

He then said, “Has the cowardly dwarf and gutless imp finally accepted this? Has he found his voice? Is he still asking us not to defend ourselves and to pray for the Fulani terrorists that slaughter our Christian brothers and sisters?”

In another tweet on killings in Benue he said, “Benue youths have killed 27 Hausa Fulani Muslims and burnt down two mosques in a retaliatory attack in Makurdi following the killing of Christian worshippers in Benue state according to the BBC. When @MBuhari refuses to protect the people they will protect themselves.

“A state of anomie exists in Nigeria. Anarchy is unfolding. If the Fulani terrorists are not stopped or if they do not desist from their barbaric agenda of ethnic cleansing, mass murder and genocide we are heading for a civil war that will make the first look like child’s play.”
