2019 Presidential Election: Prepare To Vote Out Buhari, APC - SDP Tells Nigerians

A former Presidential aspirant and current National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Olu Falae, has told Nigerians to stop crying over the poor state of insecurity in the country, but should vote out the current President, Muhammadu Buhari.

The former finance minister stated that Nigerians should rather prepare to vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by President Buhari.

The one time secretary to the government of the federation under the IBB regime made this known on Thursday, April 26, following a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the SDP held at Abuja.

Falae likewise said the Nigerian voter should not vote for the APC or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in coming elections, because neither can boast of any manifesto or policies that would positively change the lives of the citizens.

“What we are doing and what we hope to achieve is to replace this administration that is doing nothing about this callous killing of innocent Nigerians.

“We are urging Nigerians to vote out this administration and replace them with a more purposeful SDP administration,” Falae stated.

On the outcome of the NEC meeting, the Ondo state born politician said SDP looked for ways of restructuring its organs in order to accommodate the high-profile politicians who are joining the party.

Ramadan Daily Digest, which is an annual article on the stable of Naijaloveinfo with hashtag, #RamadanDailyDigest will be discussing briefly the significance of moonsighting and the commencement of Ramadan. Ramadan, which is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar is the only month in which Muslims, the world over fast from dawn till sunset for 29 or 30 days. Allaah commands Muslims to fast as stated in some parts of Suuratul Baqara (chapter 2) of The Glorious Qur'an. The Glorious Qur'an is the first and most important book to all Muslims. For all the Islamic months, starting from Muharram (first month) to Dhul Hajj (12th month), the numbers of days in each of these 12 months are often 29 days and once in a while 30 days. The interesting thing about counting days is that the crescent (new moon) plays an important role. Therefore, the significance of moonsighting is the first consideration before starting the Ramadan fasting.  The question that could come up is why do Muslims co...
