Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has explained to those who cares to listen his reasons for not playing N'Golo Kante in his side's 1-0 loss to Manchester City.
The former Leicester City midfielder was not part of the Blues side that woefully fell to rampaging Manchester City Sunday evening.
Kante was seriously missed in the Blues’ midfield as the Citizens dominated proceedings at the Etihad Stadium.
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte explained to reporters that the France international was sidelined due to illness.
He was replaced by Cesc Fabregas, who partners Danny Drinkwater in midfield.
Chelsea lost the match 1-0, thanks to early second half strike by Bernado who scored from David Silva’s cross.
