Barcelona Afraid Samuel Umtiti Could Join Manchester Clubs Following Huge Signing Of New Liverpool Defender

Tensions are rising at Camp Nou over the future of defender, Samuel Umtiti, after Liverpool paid huge sum for new defender, Virgil van Dirk from Southampton.

Barcelona FC are growing increasingly worried that one of either Manchester United or City will pay Samuel Umtiti's release clause after Virgil van Dijk's big money move to Liverpool caused chaos in the transfer market.

On Wednesday night it was announced that Van Dijk will be heading to Anfield for £75million on January 1, the highest fee ever-paid for a defender.

According to Don Balon, the La Liga giants are now worried this will spark United or City into paying Umtiti’s £50million clause in order to boost their own defensive options.

Barcelona fear one of either Manchester United or City will pay Samuel Umtiti's release clause.

Both Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho will be looking for reinforcements come January

The French defender has been a Nou Camp regular since his £21m move from Lyon in the summer of 2016, making 62 appearances.

Ernesto Valverde is reportedly keen to offer Umtiti a new contract to stave off Premier League interest, but it remains to be seen if he will sign.

United had identified Umtiti as one of their top transfer targets with Jose Mourinho plotting to take advantage of his modest release clause.

The United boss wants to bring him to Old Trafford after his summer signing Victor Lindelof's failure to kick on following his move from Benfica.

#RamadanDailyDigest: Muslim Wives Are Supporters, Not Slaves

Muslims have completed fasting Day 4 today, as they look forward to Day 5 fasting out of the 29 or 30 days fasting; it is important to highlight the roles Muslim wives play in the family. Muslim wives are supporters, and not slaves, and should be treated with utmost dignity. In the religion of Islam, the roles and rights of Muslim wives are copiously written and spoken about. How husbands should relate with their wives are clearly stated. In the Glorious Qur'an, to show the love Allaah has for women, chapter 4 is also called 'Suuratu Nisaa' which translates to chapter of the women in English language. Interesting to know that there is no single chapter out of the total 114 chapters of the Glorious Qur'an named after men, further showing that Muslim wives, daughters, mothers, and all groups of females are held in high esteem by Allaah. It is a sad tale to see what happens in the present day world, whereby some women are maltreated and abused by the society and their part...
