After Treatment For Cancer, Veteran Nigerian Actor, Sadiq Daba Returns Home From England, See Photos


Seasoned broadcast journalist and ace film actor, Sadiq Daba is back in Nigeria after he underwent treatment for cancer in the United Kingdom.

After some weeks of intensive treatment for leukaemia and prostate cancer in England, veteran actor Sadiq Daba has returned to Nigeria, just in time for the new year celebrations.

Recent photos of his shared by human rights activist Joe Odumakin show Daba looking radiant after his round of treatment. He’s quoted by Odumakin as saying ‘It’s soooo good to be back home!! Who else will be there? Who has always been there? Yes, the indefatigable woman of esteem and high standards, sincerity, honesty , love, care , adoration and an Angel……Dr.Joe Odumakin!! I am back stronger, healthier and well….all thanks to the goodwill and kindness of thousands and thousands of Nigerians both home and abroad…. Special mention and lots of love to Soni Irabor, who kick-started it all !! I am ever so grateful.’







Nigerians had rallied round Daba when news of his ill health became public in recent months, leading to a campaign to get him treated abroad. He was then flown to Princess Grace Hospital in London, before his return earlier today.
