Popular Christian Cleric Warns President Buhari About 2019 Presidential Election

The General Overseer of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Elijah Ayodele, has advised president Buhari to step down in 2019, even as he predicated that Nigeria will breakup into five entities by 2035.

The cleric, who announced the prophesies at the press presentation of his book of prophesies, Warnings to the Nations, in Lagos, stated that the 2019 elections would spring up surprises.

He said the clamour for restructuring by APC won’t work, but the people agitating for restructuring will take it up. “Nigeria will be no more from 2035; she will be divided into five nations as from 2035; two of them will be greater than the other three. Nnamdi Kanu will not actualise Biafra, but Biafra will be part of the entities that will lead to the breakup of Nigeria towards 2035. There will be a big referendum and the results will determine what will happen in Nigeria. After the referendum, everyone will go his or her own separate ways and there will be no bloodshed. However, the army and IPOB clash will still cause a lot and if the government sleeps, they will destabilise the country,” he said.

On the 2019 elections and possibility of the APC retaining power at the centre, the clergy said, “the APC can retain the presidential seat if they settle their in-house discrepancies. If they don’t get that right, PDP may take it from them but I still see a northern president ruling Nigeria in 2019. The next president will come from the north; Atiku cannot make it and neither can El-Rufai. They won’t give it to Osinbajo, so let’s wait till then,” he said.

While urging president Buhari to step down in 2019 to take care of his ill health, Ayodele said, “the point is that Buhari’s health is in a terrible situation and if he decides to play politics it with his health, it will affect him at the end of the day. Buhari needs to step down in 2019; anybody can criticise this prophecy, as they like. This is a message from God and if Buhari contests in the 2019 election, he will not finish his term. The country will not go on right,” he cautioned.

On why he criticized religious leaders in his book, he explained, “anyone, who isn’t spiritually sound should not be allowed to lead a church; Many Nigerian church leaders only celebrate the rich. They don’t want to see the poor; they want to ride limousines and build houses in Banana Island. They want to fly first class flights simply because they want to live flamboyant lifestyle. When we had Ayo Oritsejafor as CAN president, during his tenure Christianity was zero. Now, we have another Ayokunle leading CAN and I have not seen the impact of his government.

7 Greatest Sportsmen Of All Time

There are often arguments and counterarguments on who the 7 greatest sportsmen of all time are. Some sports historians, analysts, and supporters pick their own choices not necessarily on facts but emotions.  In picking the 7 greatest sportsmen of all time, I briefly checked their achievements not just in their specific fields but also their impact outside the world of sports. 1. Boxing legend, Muhammad Ali has been crowned the best sports athlete of all time in a star-studded list. The 'Greatest' is widely considered the best boxer in history and arguably the most iconic sports star of the 20th century.  Ali was not just a beauty to watch in the boxing ring, the greatest pugilist positively influenced decisions in many countries globally.  2. Pele is widely picked as the winner, and number one football player in history in all criteria. His three-time World Cup-winning feat, from four World Cup appearances, is unlikely to be matched. Pele scored a Guinness World Record of...

#RamadanDailyDigest: Significance Of Moonsighting & Commencement Of Ramadan

Ramadan Daily Digest, which is an annual article on the stable of Naijaloveinfo with hashtag, #RamadanDailyDigest will be discussing briefly the significance of moonsighting and the commencement of Ramadan. Ramadan, which is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar is the only month in which Muslims, the world over fast from dawn till sunset for 29 or 30 days. Allaah commands Muslims to fast as stated in some parts of Suuratul Baqara (chapter 2) of The Glorious Qur'an. The Glorious Qur'an is the first and most important book to all Muslims. For all the Islamic months, starting from Muharram (first month) to Dhul Hajj (12th month), the numbers of days in each of these 12 months are often 29 days and once in a while 30 days. The interesting thing about counting days is that the crescent (new moon) plays an important role. Therefore, the significance of moonsighting is the first consideration before starting the Ramadan fasting.  The question that could come up is why do Muslims co...
