The Nigerian Police has uncovered no fewer than five graves and shrines in Ikorodu, Lagos state, following murder of four persons by a deadly cultist group, popularly referred to as Badoo boys.

In order to prevent another attack, Deputy Commissioner of police in charge of operations, Edgar Imohimi, led officers to raid several shrines within the axis.

During the raid on Monday, the police uncovered a shrine which it described as one of the biggest shrines in Ikorodu area, allegedly use for heinous acts.
It was gathered that the owner of the shrine, Alaka Abayomi, took Police men and newsmen round the shrine located at the Agbowa area of Ikorodu.
The shrine is situated in a large expanse of land surrounded by thick bush and had what could be described as five graves including one that was recently covered. Also, entry into rooms housing the shrines was almost impossible because they were protected with iron doors.
