Here Are 3 Problems Every Man Who Sags His Trousers Will Face In Nigeria (PHOTOS)

Every man who sags his trousers is often seen as an irresponsible individual. Firstly, what is sagging of trousers? And how did young guys begin to sag?

Sagging of trousers is when an individual intentionally fails to tighten the belt of his trousers, thereby exposing his underwears or boxers or any other inner wear.

This habit was believed to have started among prisoners in the United States of America. These American prisoners were not allowed to use their belts to hold tight their trousers around their waist. Their trousers were almost 100% jeans, which is the most worn type of trousers in the United States.

As time went by, misguided youths in Nigeria saw this habit and began to imitate the American prisoners.

It is a common thing to see youths sag their trousers. A good number of guys or on a few occasions ladies do sagging out of ignorance.

The implications of sagging are much. It is pertinent for every man who sags his trousers to know the likely three problems he will face in the Nigerian society.

1. Loss of respect

It will be very difficult for a guy who sags to have people show him accolades. He is either seen as a street urchin or hooligan even if he has good morals. In fact, it's difficult for a well bred youth to deliberately pull down his trousers below his waist.

2. Prevents opportunities

No one knows who is who. It's not by the way a person dresses that you identify if he is wealthy or not. Some people are strikingly rich without someone knowing.

A man who sags and needs help from a rich person may lose out. This is due to the fact that the wealthy man could think the sagging guy is not responsible.

3. Low self esteem

One of the major problems of sagging is low self esteem. The individual who sags loses his own personal dignity. He does not feel comfortable. There might be pretence on his part as if he has confidence. But the gospel truth is that he feels inferior among his peers. He only has confidence if he dines and wines with friends who sag like him.

It is imperative to note that no responsible man will sag his trousers. It's better to let people perceive you through your dressing as a well brought up individual than a do-away-with individual.
