How Much Attention Do You Give To Exercises?

  •  A constant fact about every human being is that the quality of someone's health determines his productivity at work and at home
  • It is important to eat good food, especially balanced diet in order to stay healthy and be free from diseases which easily break down an individual's immune defenses
Eating nutritious and healthy foods alone is not enough to maintain good and sound health. There are a combination of so many things that each person should adopt and do to have optimal performance in his day-to-day activities.

One of these important things is being involved in exercises. There are thousands of exercises that an individual can do to stay physically, mentally, emotionally and pyschologically fit.

Walking is a good exercise
Walking is one of the best exercises

If a person for instance, eats without doing exercises to burn out the excess fats in his body, the resulting effect could be overweight and later obesity. It should be emphasised here that 'obesity' is a disease of Public Health importance. Obesity has been found, according to many studies and researches to be associated with many other life-threatening diseases.

Countries like United States and United Kingdom come tops when it comes to the challenges of obesity, which is gradually becoming an epidemic.

An individual can choose three to five simple exercises to do early in the morning or a few minutes before sunset to stay in shape. The exercises will help maintain a normal Body Mass Index (BMI), regular blood flow in the body, prevent heart diseases/cardiovascular challenges and other related ones.

In addition, the cost of medical bills will be cut down, thereby allowing the individual in question to save more money for his family and himself. The economy of a society will also benefit from the trickle effects of not spending more on treatment of diseases.

Summarily, every individual should embrace the type of exercise that he feels works best for him. One important exercise that everyone can embrace is 'walking' for at least one kilometre every day. Walking gives the right health balance to the body, and helps prevent obesity and associated diseases.
