Who Needs Ronaldo? How Real Madrid Destroyed Juventus 3-1

Real Madrid defeated Juventus by 3-1 in a game played infront of over 70,000 football loving spectators.

All the fears raised about the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus from Spanish giant, Madrid had no effect.

Maryland's FedExField played host as Real Madrid overturned an early 1-0 deficit to beat a Cristiano Ronaldo-less Juventus in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Having fallen behind through a Dani Carvajal own goal, Gareth Bale levelled the scores before the break, and thereafter Marco Asensio took centre stage with a brace to win the game for the European champions.

There was little that could have been done to prevent the opener as Joao Cancelo's cross was diverted off of Carvajal and beyond Keylor Navas to give the Old Lady the lead.

From then, Julen Lopetegui's side reacted and took charge of the game without ever really creating too much.

Bale and Isco both tried their luck from range but never really troubled Wojciech Szczesny in the Juve goal.

The equaliser did soon come though through the Welshman as he gathered a loose ball, still some way from goal, before dispatching a stunning strike well out of the Pole's reach.

Sergio Reguillon had a chance to put Real Madrid in front shortly after but his effort went wide.

Vinicius' impact on the second half was felt as Marco Asensio set him free before the Brazilian played the ball back to the Spaniard to put the LaLiga side ahead.

Asensio made it three as he slotted one under Szczesny and from there it was complete domination from Real , despite their inability to add more goals.

#RamadanDailyDigest: Muslim Wives Are Supporters, Not Slaves

Muslims have completed fasting Day 4 today, as they look forward to Day 5 fasting out of the 29 or 30 days fasting; it is important to highlight the roles Muslim wives play in the family. Muslim wives are supporters, and not slaves, and should be treated with utmost dignity. In the religion of Islam, the roles and rights of Muslim wives are copiously written and spoken about. How husbands should relate with their wives are clearly stated. In the Glorious Qur'an, to show the love Allaah has for women, chapter 4 is also called 'Suuratu Nisaa' which translates to chapter of the women in English language. Interesting to know that there is no single chapter out of the total 114 chapters of the Glorious Qur'an named after men, further showing that Muslim wives, daughters, mothers, and all groups of females are held in high esteem by Allaah. It is a sad tale to see what happens in the present day world, whereby some women are maltreated and abused by the society and their part...
