#ENGSWE #WorldCup: Why The Three Lions Should Be Careful Of Dangerous Sweden

The Three Lions of England will play against Sweden in the third quarter finals of the Russia 2018 World Cup 3pm Nigerian time.

Harry Kane led his teammates to a hard fought round of 16 penalty shootout victory against Columbia in a tension soaked match. For Sweden, they defeated Switzerland by 1-0 to book a quarter final ticket.

Today could be tougher for the Gareth Southgate tutored boys, because this is Sweden, a very dangerous side on the counter attack.

The last Sweden reached the Semifinals in a World Cup was at USA 1994, where they lost by a narrow margin to eventual winners, Brazil. On the other hand, England was last a Semi finalist at Italia 1990, where they likewise lost to eventual winners, Germany.

The present crop of Sweden players can hurt any team, and England may not be an exception. Therefore, the Three Lions would have to work hard if they would beat the Scandinavian to the Semifinals.

All eyes are on Russia for this epic encounter, and at the end of the day, it's either going to be either England or Sweden for Semi finals.
